Phil and Lyndell are officially "hitched", having exchanged marriage vows at Vlasoff Cay (or Middle Cay) at approximately 10am on Monday 19 January, 2009.

We ran away to get married to keep it simple. In many ways, the decision to elope was one of the easiest, however it brought with it complications we never imagined. More than anything, we hated concealing our plans from you, our friends and family. So, we kept this blog not only as part of our big "reveal" but also so that those of you who are interested could recount our experiences in planning our special day, if you choose.

Fake tan and other disasters...

OK, so I started thinking that maybe I had gotten a little too caught up in being a bride when I started to consider fake tanning.

I tan easily however most of my time in the sun is in cycling or running gear... not low cut dresses. I realised when trying my dress on to make sure my Christmas cheer hadn't effected how it fit me, that my white decolletage looked out of place.

I've got myself some "natural glow moisturiser" in the hope that I will be able to avoid a fake tan disaster! Here's hoping it kicks in in time.
