After searching fruitlessly for a necklace, I realised that I had the perfect piece already. It is a necklace I've had for a few years now, one that my dear friend Janet Hicks gave it to me for my birthday one year.
It's a very pretty necklace, something I would never have chosen for myself, and yet whenever I wear it I always to this day get complements on it. It suits the neckline and colour of the dress perfectly. So, I guess I've got something old... (and it also happens to be blue...)
Whether I'll be able to borrow something on the sly remains to be seen...
Phil and Lyndell are officially "hitched", having exchanged marriage vows at Vlasoff Cay (or Middle Cay) at approximately 10am on Monday 19 January, 2009.
We ran away to get married to keep it simple. In many ways, the decision to elope was one of the easiest, however it brought with it complications we never imagined. More than anything, we hated concealing our plans from you, our friends and family. So, we kept this blog not only as part of our big "reveal" but also so that those of you who are interested could recount our experiences in planning our special day, if you choose.
